Feeding wild dolphins is on everybody’s bucket list, right?

You can experience this once in a lifetime opportunity at the stunning Tangalooma resort located on Moreton Island. The price varies depending on which option you choose to feed the dolphins. There are several options available to choose from for those wishing to feed the wild dolphins.

About the dolphins at Tangalooma

Tangalooma resort is one of the few locations in the world, where you can get up close and personal with native wildlife in its natural environment. The wild dolphin feeding program has been running for almost 20 years and takes place each evening at sunset. The dolphins make their way to the shore just after sunset ready for their feed. The dolphins that call Tangalooma home are apart of two family groups. All the dolphins have names, and their family trees are known to the keepers and those who run the dolphin feeding program, making it a unique and intimate experience.

Accommodation and dolphin feeding options

In order to feed the wild dolphins, you must either be staying at the Tangalooma resort or cruising from Brisbane on an official guided tour. The resort offers a variety of accommodation options, ranging from hotel rooms, to whole apartments. Most options include feeding the dolphins once, per person during the entire duration of your stay. Be sure to confirm that the dolphin feeding is included in the package you have selected to avoid disappointment.
